Welsh culture and local heritage of Merthyr’s 4 rural wards

Canolfan a Menter Gymraeg Merthyr Tudful has commissioned Merthyr’s Great Western Media, to produce a series of films about the history and heritage of 4 rural wards in Merthyr Tydfil with a special interest in the use of the Welsh language in the areas. The film documents memories and real life stories from the borough’s rich and colorful history, focusing on the Bedlinog, Cyfarthfa, Vaynor and Ynysowen wards. A fifth film bringing the highlights of the four films together has also been produced.
